Audrey's six month checkup / crawling update

Audrey had her six month checkup a few days ago. The doctor says she is in great health.

length: 28" - only 1/4" gain since January, interestingly.
weight: 18 lbs 9 oz - 1 lb 3 oz gain since January.

In other news, she's doing a "soldier crawl" now, where she pulls herself along on her tummy. She's pulled herself a few feet this way, so I guess that means she's officially crawling now. I have video of it that I will post later.

In other other news, her new favorite thing to do is to yell. She's doing it pretty much all day now. And she's freaking LOUD. She's so different from Aria, it's really trippy.

Crawling update

Seems like Audrey will be crawling any minute now. Last night she was pushing herself up much more smoothly & quickly - her arms look much stronger now. And she was just starting to move her knees forward a tiny little bit.

One other thing happened yesterday that I have to mention. When I came home from work, I came in through the garage door as usual. Audrey was in her high chair at the table. When she saw me, she gave a huge smile and started kicking her feet like crazy. She's never done anything like that before. It put a smile on my face ten miles wide. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the happiest moments of the past six months for me.

Growth spurt!

Aria's height 2/2/09: 3 feet exactly.

Aria's height 3/11/09: 3' 1"

No wonder she's been so hungry all the time lately.

First tooth

Audrey's right front bottom tooth is just starting to poke through today. Certainly explains her crazy behavior over the past few days.

the many moods of Audrey

First thing in the morning: chillin.

Mid-morning: the short-lived independent play time.

Mid-morning II: attempting to crawl.

Late afternoon: growling at Daddy, with bonus spitup scene!

Late afternoon II: growling at Mommy, and getting cranky.
