Halloween!

This year Hosanna made Aria a little fairy costume. She spent hours and hours on it, and I must say, it turned out quite nicely. :)




It was Aria's first try at trick-or-treating. She wasn't too sure about it at first, and there was a little while where we weren't even sure if she would let us put the costume on her. But then, kids started coming to the door, and she saw them in their costumes, and she saw us giving them treats, and next thing you know, she's clamoring to put on her fairy costume and go out trick-or-treating. :)



We're not real wild about the candy thing, but we let her have a little snickers bar. She loved it, of course. She was wired until 10:30 p.m. Luckily she had had a good nap earlier.


She sang a lot that night, and luckily I was able to catch some on video. Unfortunately the light's not very good, but c'est la vie.



Adamen also spent many hours on his costume... growing out a hick mustache and mullet. He even straightened his hair in the back. Note the giant belt buckle and American flag shoes.







As for the rest of us... Hosie spent way too much time on Aria's costume to bother doing one for herself - she finished it at about 7 p.m. on Halloween day - and I am way too lazy for that stuff. I bought the candy and ordered the pizza, does that count?
